The TNC Constitution contains the rules of the organisation and describes its purpose, the structure and membership.

Membership

You can become a member by completing the Membership Application Form and submitting it to admin@tnc.org.au. You'll need to pay the $5 annual membership fee - either at the office in person, or by EFT. Your application will be reviewed at the next Board of Management meeting.

Board of Management

The Board of Management was elected at the 2022 AGM. Under the 2022 Constitution, three Board Members will be required to retire each year. Board appointments are for a period of three years.


Office Bearers and Board Members are listed below.

Bronwyn Evans

Chairperson

Bronwyn has been keenly involved in her local community, both in her previous home in Sydney and now in Toukley. She is an advocate of our local area and eager to help develop the services and support delivered by TNC.

Bronwyn has a background in consulting, information technology and good governance. She is married and besotted with Banjo the gorgeous doggie. She loves to enjoy a wine watching a spectacular sunset over Tuggerah Lake.

Karin McGann

Vice Chairperson

Karin has lived in Toukley for 55 years. In that time she have always been involved in the community. She worked in a medical centre for 30 years. In that time she have met people from all walks of life. She enjoys helping in the community and has seen the area expand at a fast rate. She is proud to be involved with the Neighbourhood Centre.

Frances Maddock

Secretary

Fran arrived on the Central Coast in early 2017, a refugee from Sydney city life. She had a diverse career including in the Public Service, the finance industry and a decade teaching English as a second language both here and overseas. She is a passionate lover of cooking (and eating) good food, musical theatre and animal rescue. When not working as a volunteer at TNC, she lives with her fur family of Ringo and Laverne (dogs) and Robbie and Splodge (cats). Fran loves being a Coastie!

Allan Anderson

Member

Allan is a Central Coast local who grew up in Wyong, attending local schools before heading to Sydney to attend university. His career spans across health and community services as his passion has always been community-focused. Returning to the Coast once he started his family, Allan is married with three children. He loves to travel and scuba dive. Allan has lived in Toukley for the past 16 years and is proud to service his local community.

Annette Starr

Member

Annette considers herself a local as she moved to Toukley from Kurri Kurri in the early '70s with her husband Wayne. They raised two beautiful children on the Coast and have been blessed with an adorable granddaughter. She is extremely passionate about her involvement in the local community.

Elizabeth Walker

Member

Liz is happily married with four wonderful children. She has lived in Toukley for 50-odd years and loves the feel and warmth of the people. Toukley Neighbourhood Centre cares, and she likes being a part of that.

Chris King

Member



For over 5 decades Chris has tirelessly worked hard to succeed in a plethora of theatrical, television and entertainment related roles. From the early years as a television star, then as a writer, producer, director, company director, mentor, award winning MC, sports, media and customer service trainer. 

Answering the call to invest this experience to assist the economic and cultural growth of his community (Central Coast NSW) Chris, left a successful professional life in private enterprise to accept the role of Business and Tourism Events Manager at Central Coast Tourism in 2012. In eighteen months, Chris was the principal instigator, attracting over $52,000,000 of economic benefit for the Central Coast by way of new major sporting, cultural and business events to the region. In June 2013 Chris was appointed as Gosford City Council Manager Arts and Entertainment. 2021 sees Chris finalise 8 sparkling years of service at Central Coast Council. Having resigned in 2019 Chris leaves a an acknowledged legacy having lead considerable advances in his tenure as longest serving Board Member and Vice Chair of Regional Development Australia (RDACC) in 2022, in 2023 continues to serve as a Board Director of the board of Mingara Leisure Group (MLG)
