TNC is closing the Food Care shop, effective 5th December 2023.

There are now several alternative food hubs , that did not exist until recently. Those alternatives operate at a much lower cost base than what we do and are able to offer better pricing to customers. Our view is that we should be working co-operatively, not competitively with these organisations.

We will re-deploy our staff and consult with our volunteers who were working in the Food Care shop on how they can help support other services and programs where we can more directly benefit our community.

TNC is moving into a new home in Summerside Street, and we look forward to welcoming people into our new Community Space in 2024.
