Welcome to Toukley Neighbourhood Centre Inc.

The staff, committee and volunteers would like to warmly welcome you to our web-site. Within the pages of this site you will find information about the many programs we facilitate in the community of Toukley and the surrounding local areas.

Together for Toukley

Several Toukley-based organisations meet monthly during the year to discuss issues relevant to Toukley and its residents. T4T, as it is known, plan one major event each year. This event is focused on youth and is planned in line with National Youth Week. Wet, Wild & Rhythm offers a range of fun, physically active and creative activities for kids and is usually held on a weekend day during Youth Week in April each year. Some of the partners involved with T4T are the Y, Toukley School, Toukley Senior Citizens Club, Police, Greater Toukley Vision, Youth Connections, Wyong Shire Council and TNC.

Wyong Interagency

TNC is part of the Wyong Interagency which meets bi-monthly throughout the year to discuss the various projects and programs offered by agencies working within the Wyong Local Government Area. Guest speakers are invited from organisations around the shire to present their programs/projects to the group. There are around 20 partner organisations represented at each meeting, the partners are asked to give a two minute update of their service.

Central Coast Connect Day

Held annually, Connect Day offers homeless and disadvantage individuals the opportunity to access services in one common place on a single day. Organisations and services from the Central Coast and nationally, come together to provide information, free services and give-aways. Free meals and sample bags are distributed and Government Departments such as Births, Deaths and Marriages offer free services like FREE Birth Certificate Applications.

Community Builders Network Meetings

Staff from Toukley Neighbourhood Centre attend regular meetings of the network and discuss the current and future directions of Community Builders funded programs. There are approximately 25 Community Builders Funded Services represented at these meetings.

Central Coast Neighbourhood Centre Alliance

There are 11 Neighbourhood Centres and Community Centres on the Central Coast. These centres have formed an group that meet regularly to collaborate and plan for collective impact.

Surfside Church

TNC are very grateful to Surfside for their generous donations towards our material assistance programs. Thy have made regular cash donations as well as a large donation in 2012 at Christmas to help provide Christmas Voucher Packs to disadvantaged families.

Food Care Vouchers for St Vincent De Paul

Since 2012 the St Vincent de Paul Society purchased vouchers for their clients to spend at Lakes Food Care. Vouchers spent in our charity food store represent better value for money than vouchers spent in the major food chains and therefore are a lot more meaningful to the client. Our partnership with the St Vincent de Paul Society is on-going and mutually beneficial. TNC wish to thank the St Vincent de Paul Society for their continuing support of our ground-breaking social enterprise.
