Toukley Neighbourhood Centre - A Place to Make Friends:
Toukley Neighbourhood Centre is a registered charity which offers referral, support
and information to our local community upon request. The Centre also offers opportunities
for community members to visit the Centre in a social capacity through recreational
activities.
We Provide - Groups, Activities and Courses:
- Recreational and social groups like school aged tumblers, folk art, line dancing,
lip reading, dancing, and yoga.
- Kidzspace School Holiday Activities – 3 times per year each holiday break after terms
1, 2 and 3.
- Before and After School Care through OOSH Central Pty. Ltd 0423 015 501.
- A Supported Multicultural Playgroup where parents and preschoolers can meet, talk
and have fun for free. Referrals essential call Lisa at Uniting Care Burnside on
4352 3222.
- Educational groups - learn new skills with courses/workshops like our computer courses.
- Recreational groups like folk art and digital photography.
- Stamp collecting to support 3rd world country communities.
We Provide – specialised programs to assist our local community needs:
- No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS®).
- Material Assistance - Food Bank (emergency overnight food parcels 2263/2262).
- Financial Assistance - energy/gas & Telstra vouchers for postcodes 2263/2262).
- R2R Toukley Free Community Cafe (morning tea & lunch).
